From November 2016 to April 2017, research & production residency by Frédéric Dialynas Sanchez.

Frédéric Dialynas Sanchez draws on the history of the monochrome and Akira Kurosawa’s Sanshiro Sugata (aka Judo Saga, 1943) in order to set up a dojo within the art centre. Via the practice of judo, he proposes an immersion into the monochrome and geometric abstraction, locating the origins of monochrome in a sport practised by Yves Klein during his student years. Klein opened his own dojo in Paris in 1954, at 104 Boulevard de Clichy.
