In October 2019, school residency by Minia Biabiany with students from École de Wittersdorf.

Minia Biabiany (1988, Guadeloupe) lives and works in Mexico City and Guadeloupe. Video and exhibition spaces are constructed as a weaving of fragile relationships between objects, representations and body movements in a practice that questions the structures of narrativity as affected by colonisation and assimilation.

Minia Biabiany conducts her research in connection with pedagogy from the Caribbean through the Doukou platform, a structure for pedagogical and artistic experimentation that addresses concepts by Caribbean authors through the prism of the body. Her work has been shown at the X Berlin Biennale, TEOR/éTica in Costa Rica, Witte de With in Rotterdam, Cràter Invertido and Bikini Wax in Mexico City, Prix Sciences Po 2019 in Paris, SIGNAL in Malmö.
