On Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 7 pm, as part of the European Museum Night, CRAC Alsace invites you to two special tours of The World by Rafael Moreno and Glowing, flaring, lurid, loud by Yuyan Wang!
Pierre Niedergang, psychoanalyst and philosopher, and Guillaume Kuntz, science outreach specialist, will share their personal views of the artworks, drawing on their expertise and experiences.
Pierre Niedergang, psychoanalyst and philosopher, gives an interpretation of The World based on concepts related to the construction of the self and the way we perceive others. His talk will explore these questions in relation to the works of Rafael Moreno, which are permeated by fragmented identities and play with projections.
As a science outreach specialist at the Montbéliard Science Pavilion, Guillaume Kuntz examines how Yuyan Wang invokes the effect of light on our senses in Glowing, flaring, lurid, loud. He sheds light on this theme through science, explaining how the human eye interprets—sometimes misleadingly—the artificial lights that surround it.
Evening program:
—7 to 7.30 pm: tour of Glowing, flaring, lurid, loud led by Guillaume Kuntz
—8 to 8.30 pm: tour of The World led by Pierre Niedergang, followed by a casual discussion
On this occasion, CRAC Alsace will be open from 2 pm to 9 pm.
We look forward to welcoming you!
