In July 2015, research and production residency by the artists Matteo Rubbi, Louise Hervé & Chloé Maillet.
For their residency, Louise Hervé, Chloé Maillet & Matteo Rubbi will work with students and young artists from HEAR (Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin). The specific historical context will be that of the Saint-Simonians, who in the 1830s devised a strategy for putting people in touch with the stars. Together, participants will create an alternative utopian solar system far away from our space and time, in which the movements of the planets—like relationships between people—will be altogether different. This project will lead to a collective performance which will be documented and incorporated into the artists' new film, Spectacles sans objet.
